watched the game live, the Team gave it their all...
we lost... it just wasnt meant to be...
DLSU isnt close to my heart at all, but of course AdMU IS... i took the loss hard, & i fought back the tears as we sang the song of & for our dear Alma Mater...
slowly, people filed out of the Araneta Coliseum. BUT... before the seats were emptied, familiar drum lines rang out from atop the bleachers. lo & behold, it wasnt from the Blue Babble Band, but from the drums of DLSU! RESPECT, RESPECT was there, & to make it even better, what was left of the DLSU Gallery cheered OUR School's name, clapping their hands to the all too familiar beat of whats heard from our drums. RESPECT. & what did Ateneo do? our drums retuned the favor! in that "show", both Universities gave their final salute to each other us as we close this chapter on THE Rivalry, at least for this year. despite all the harsh words, pang-lalait, pang-aasar at pang-aalaska, that exchange just goes to show that YES, BOTH Universities still DO have respect for each other. Basketball is where all heads from both schools bang against each other, but, again, in the end, RESPECT is what it all boils down to. in my belief, after today's battle, we both EARNED each other's respect.
hats off & hands down to the better team today, we WILL see you again next year! Ü

WHAT HAPPENS IN HEAVEN
This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:
Idreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. Wewalked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
Myangel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This Isthe Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer areReceived."
I looked around in this area, and it was terriblybusy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminouspaper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.
Theangel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section.Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed anddelivered to the living persons who asked for them."
Inoticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels workinghard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested andwere being packaged for delivery to Earth
Finally at thefarthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the Door of a verysmall stati on To my great surprise, only one angel was Seated there,idly doing nothing. "This is the Aknowledgment Section," My angelfriend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed "How Is it thatthere is no work going on here?" I asked.
"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked For, very few send back acknowledgments ."
"How does one acknowledge God's blessings?" I asked.
"Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord."
"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.
"Ifyou have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roofoverhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. Ifyou have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish,you are among the top 8% of the world's wealth y ."
"And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity."
Also .
"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... You aremore blessed than the many who will not even survive this day ."
"Ifyou have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness ofimprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation .. Youare ahead of 700 million people in the world." ;
